We built these tools to make running for ANC easier and safer. But they're a helping hand, not the official word — and it matters that you know exactly where the line is.

Not affiliated with the government
We are not affiliated with the DC Board of Elections (DCBOE), the Office of Campaign Finance (OCF), or the DC government. The official rules, forms, dates, and decisions are theirs — always confirm at dcboe.org or by calling DCBOE at 202-727-2525.
Not legal advice
Nothing here is legal advice. Ballot access, campaign finance, and election law have real requirements and deadlines; if you need advice about your situation, consult DCBOE or a qualified attorney.
Tools provided as-is
Our tools — the readiness quiz, the plan, the petition-packet helper, the card and sign generators, reminders — are provided as-is, to help you prepare. We work to keep them accurate and date-stamp what we verify, but procedures change. Every tool points you to the official path, and none of them file anything for you.
You're responsible for your own campaign
You are responsible for your own filings, materials, and deadlines: what goes on your forms, what your campaign materials say (including the required "paid for by" line), and getting things filed on time. We draft and guide; the submission — and the responsibility for it — is yours.
Links we don't control
We link to independent organizations and resources (DCBOE, fundraising platforms, partner groups, and others). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, tools, or policies — review their own terms.

No es asesoría legal
Nada aquí es asesoría legal. El acceso a la boleta, las finanzas de campaña y la ley electoral tienen requisitos y fechas límite reales; si necesitas asesoría sobre tu caso, consulta a DCBOE o a un abogado calificado.
Herramientas tal cual
Nuestras herramientas — la evaluación, el plan, el asistente de petición, los generadores de tarjetas y letreros, los recordatorios — se ofrecen tal cual, para ayudarte a prepararte. Trabajamos para mantenerlas exactas y fechamos lo que verificamos, pero los procedimientos cambian. Cada herramienta te remite a la vía oficial, y ninguna presenta nada por ti.
Eres responsable de tu propia campaña
Eres responsable de tus propias presentaciones, materiales y fechas límite: lo que va en tus formularios, lo que dicen tus materiales (incluida la línea obligatoria "pagado por"), y presentar a tiempo. Nosotros redactamos y guiamos; la presentación — y la responsabilidad por ella — es tuya.
Enlaces que no controlamos
Enlazamos a organizaciones y recursos independientes (DCBOE, plataformas de recaudación, grupos aliados y otros). No controlamos esos sitios ni somos responsables de su contenido, herramientas o políticas — revisa sus propios términos.
